Job Description:
The successful candidate for this tenure-track position will provide high-quality teaching of DAEE undergraduate environmental, natural resources and economics courses and possibly master's level courses. Their research will result in publications that include leading disciplinary peer-reviewed journals. The area of research emphasis for this position is natural resources and environmental economics, including research relevant to agricultural producers and firms in Montana.
Required Qualifications:
1.Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics or Economics prior to the starting date.
2.Strong commitment to teaching, research, and outreach/service.
3.Strong potential for research publication and extramural funding.
4.Demonstrated interest and knowledge in environmental and natural resources economics.
Preferred Qualifications:
1.Demonstrated success in research and teaching.
2.Knowledge of agricultural experiment station research and outreach programs.
3.Strength in economic theory and quantitative analysis.
The Successful Candidate Will: Have excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to successfully contribute to DAEE teaching, research, and outreach.
