NBER’s Fellowship Program in Disability Policy Research offers support for outstanding economists to visit our Cambridge office for one year of intensive research to deepen our understanding of the health and economic implications of disability policy. Fellows are free of all teaching and other university responsibilities.
Fellows receive a yearly stipend of $65,000 plus office space, use of the Bureau’s computer facilities, and funds for research expenses.
Eligibility:
Applications are being accepted for 2016-2017.* Applicants must have completed a PhD or have a tenure track faculty appointment at a North American college or university.
NBER encourages applications from candidates from under-represented racial and ethnic groups; candidates with disabilities; and/or individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. NBER is not able to sponsor a visa for this fellowship.
