Northwestern College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in finance and/or economics beginning August 2016.

Responsibilities: Teach finance and microeconomic courses (Principles Finance, Corp Finance, Investments, Principles Microeconomics, Inter Microeconomics, Advanced Derivatives and a specialty course. Courses are also required for Actuarial Science degree.) Also advising, serving on committees, assessment & recruiting.

Qualifications: Preference given to candidates with doctorate in finance or economics; ABD and or persons with master’s & 3-5 years undergraduate teaching may be considered. Affiliated with the Reformed Church in America, Northwestern College seeks candidates with an authentic Christian faith who will support the college’s mission, Reformed and evangelical identity, and commitment to Christian liberal arts as expressed in our Vision for Learning.

Degrees in business administration, accounting, economics & business education. Approximately 200 majors chose one or more of these areas of study. Seniors often score above the 90th percentile on ETS tests. Faculty: 6 full-time faculty members. Accrediting body: IACBE
