The Institute for Social Science Research is seeking applicants for Research Methodologist. Primary responsibilities: develop programs to support methodological skills for social scientists; conduct innovative social science research; provide research and methodological advising; offer instructional workshops to social science researchers; manage a small team of graduate research consultants. The Research Methodologist will work with ISSR Director and staff to help design new initiatives to advance the service and research mission of the Institute while pursuing their own research interests and research opportunities and collaborating on interdisciplinary research.

Qualifications: Doctoral degree in social sciences or related fields; background in quantitative social science methods and analytical techniques; strong communication skills; experience mentoring and instructing in research methods.

This is a non-tenure track position with promise for advancement. Initial appointment is two years with renewal contingent on performance and success in procuring external funding.
