IHS’s Centre for Forecasting and Modelling is seeking a Senior Manager to head our International Economics’ Value Added data team. In this role, you’ll oversee the delivery of the IHS World Market Monitor product - the premier database for global economic data covering 200+ countries. Managing a team of 10, you will be the “glue” between our regional forecasting teams in order to deliver our global forecast. This includes gathering inputs from our regional teams, analyzing the data, and organizing it in a way that it easily understood by our clients. You will seek to enhance the operational efficiency and automation of our data sourcing processes, and seek out new and innovative ways to continue to enhance the value we deliver to our clients through our global forecast.
Successful candidates will have minimum 10+ years of macroeconomic forecasting experience, strong programming skills (including expertise in Eviews), experience with times series econometric modeling, excellent project management skills, and a PhD or Masters in Economics. Ideally candidates should also have previous experience managing a team. Ideally this role will be based in London or Washington, DC, but we will consider other major metro areas for the right candidate.
