NBER’s Fellowship Program in Aging and Health Research supports outstanding economists visiting NBER’s Cambridge office for one or two years of intensive research in aging and health. Fellowship related activities are expected to represent the fellow’s primary responsibility during the year.
Fellows receive a yearly stipend of $65,000 -$90,000 (depending on years of experience) as well as office space, use of computer facilities, and funds for research expenses. Financial support is provided by the NIA and NBER.
Applications are being accepted for the 2017-2018 academic year; awards are contingent on grant funding. Applicants must have completed a PhD before they begin the program, and must be US Citizens or lawfully admitted for permanent residence.
