Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) South Asia, based at the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), is pleased to announce two Postdoctoral Fellowships supporting a recently launched research initiative, Cash Transfers for Child Health (CaTCH). The first fellowship will be based at J-PAL Global at MIT and the second fellowship will be based at J-PAL’s Delhi office. The contract duration for both positions will be two years. Successful candidates may have the potential to extend their work with the initiative. The fellows will work with the initiative’s co-chairs Pascaline Dupas and Seema Jayachandran, other J-PAL affiliated researchers, and the J-PAL South Asia Policy team to help generate policy-relevant evidence on the role of transfer programmes for improving child health outcomes in India.
Qualifications:
The fellowship is open to a candidate who has earned either a PhD in Economics or Public Policy with a significant focus on health OR a PhD in public health with a focus on quantitative research methods.
