Buffalo State College is seeking to fill a Full Time Tenure track position in Economics and Finance beginning September 2017. Requirements are a Ph.D. (completed by August 1, 2017) in economics or finance with a concentration in microeconomics. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of high quality teaching and scholarship and show an ability to blend in with a student centered pedagogy that celebrates student engagement, show an interest in “service learning,” “applied research” and an “Urban Mission” at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and demonstrate an understanding and openness to heterodox and other alternative paradigms in economics.
