The Economics Department at Occidental College invites applications for a 1-year visiting non-tenure-track Assistant Professor position, beginning in August 2017. Occidental College is a national liberal arts college with a broadly diverse student body and faculty. Candidates must be committed to outstanding teaching in a diverse environment. The successful candidate will teach six courses (3-3), including principles of economics (combined microeconomics and macroeconomics), and possibly intermediate microeconomics and/or an additional upper-division elective course. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Economics, or expect to complete the degree requirements by August 2017.
