Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at the University of Maine invites applications for a full-time Research Associate or Senior Research Associate. The candidate should have a strong educational background (ideally a graduate degree) in economics or policy-related discipline and have experience conducting policy research (preferably at least a few years). The job requires analytical and technical expertise in policy analysis, such as economic impact analysis, statistics, econometrics, and/or GIS. Superior communication skills are also necessary, as much of the research will be addressed to policymakers and the general public. Salary will be commensurate will education and experience, but probably within the range of $40,500 to $77,500, plus full University benefits. The likely start date will be between July 1st and September 1st.
