The Department of Economics at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics invites applications for a one-year Lecturer position beginning in August 2017. We are looking for candidates with demonstrated potential for and commitment to high quality teaching at the undergraduate level. The successful applicant is expected to teach six courses per year. During the fall 2017 semester, the course load will be two courses in principles of micro and one course in intermediate micro. The principles courses are large sections capped at 185 students. Teaching large sections and an interest in teaching predictive and prescriptive modeling to economics students will be a distinct advantage. Candidates should have completed their Ph.D. in economics by August 2017.
