Competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Position Summary:
The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate and maintain a commitment to teaching, producing scholarly research, and participating in service activities appropriate for the candidate's given rank. Applicants are expected to be versatile, with an ability and willingness to teach a variety of economics courses. Individuals applying for this position may have research and teaching interests in any area of economics. Applicants must be willing to teach evening courses if assigned.

Required Qualifications:
An earned doctoral degree (Ph.D. or D.B.A.) in Economics. ABD will be considered. The candidate applying for the visiting position at the rank of Associate level or higher must demonstrate a record of high quality scholarly publications and an active research stream.

Texas A&M International University, located in Laredo, Texas offers BBA, MBA, and Ph.D. programs in its business school with special emphasis on topics in international business. The salary is consistent with comparable AACSB-accredited public research universities. The A R. Sanchez School of Business is an AACSB accredited institution and is the editorial home of The International Trade Journal and The International Journal of e-Collaboration.
