Menzies is one of Australia’s leading medical research institutes dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of First Nations Australians, and a leader in global and tropical health research.

The Father Frank Flynn Fellowship was established to build leadership and capacity in priority areas of health research pertinent to the Northern Territory.

Menzies School of Health Research, in partnership with the NT Government, is looking to recruit a senior Health Economist to:
- Conduct high-quality multi-disciplinary research, research training and/or public health education with a focus on remote and tropical health and improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
- Advance the local, national and international application of research findings to improve health and wellbeing of Territorians.
- Contribute to health policy discussions and planning processes

What you will bring to the Role
- a PhD or equivalent in health economics or economics;
- Demonstrated academic excellence and outstanding contributions to research in health economics, evidenced by a strong publication record in leading international journals;
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with colleagues, students and people from diverse cultures.
