The George L. Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University invites applications for a tenured or tenure track Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Strategic Management, beginning August 2022.


Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Strategy, Strategic Management, Economics (emphasis on Industrial Organization), Management Science, Information Systems, or related fields is required.

We are seeking candidates with research agendas in innovation, entrepreneurship, economic theories of the firm, or platform strategy. We are also interested in candidates whose research centers on management science, information systems, industrial organization, or business analytics as they relate to firm strategy.

This search is for a tenure-track Assistant Professor but more seasoned applicants with exceptional research records and a current tenured/tenure-track academic position are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
Duties include performing high quality research and demonstrating excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate students.

Research support and teaching loads are competitive with other R1 and R2 ranked universities.

Tenure track faculty are expected to develop and maintain an active research agenda for future tenure consideration and are evaluated on their research/scholarly activity, teaching and service.
