Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), founded in 1940, is a public university with a traditional focus on science and technology but developing into other areas such as management and humanities. The Institute emphasizes ethics in scholarship, discovery of truth, and contribution to mankind through profound academic accomplishments.

BIT plans to fill up to 3-5 faculty positions ranking from Assistant Professor to full Professor in the fields of Econometrics and Finance.

Compensation package includes basic annual salary RMB 400,000 or more, research funds, housing allowances, international airfare stipend, plus standard fringe benefits. For senior positions, the compensation is negotiable.

Candidates are required to possess a PhD by July 2022, with strong research potential and evidence of quality teaching. Appointees are expected to engage in active research and teaching.
