The Department of Economics at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for one full-time open rank tenure-track position to begin August 2023. Preferred candidates will have teaching and research interests in at least one of these areas of specialization: Monetary economics, money and banking, macroeconomics, economic history, public finance and public choice, and international economics with special emphasis on international business, international political economy, or globalization. In addition to teaching in their fields, candidates should also be willing to teach classes at the introductory level and online; engage in professional development; and provide service to the department, business school, university, and community. The normal teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The successful candidate must have the ability to work with and be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse urban population.
