The Department of Economics at the University of Melbourne invites applications for continuing Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (the equivalent of tenure track Assistant Professor in North America) and Associate Professor positions. Candidates specialising in macroeconomics, econometrics and applied microeconomics will be highly regarded.

The Department of Economics is a research-oriented department with strong undergraduate, masters, and PhD programs. It consists of 65 academic staff members who are part of a larger university community of economists.
