The Northwestern University Department of Economics anticipates filling an opening at the rank of Associate or Full Professor beginning September 1, 2023. The primary focus of the search is in applied microeconomics. Duties include teaching, research, and advising graduate students. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. by the start date. Primary considerations for all faculty positions will be an outstanding research record, excellent recommendations, and teaching ability. Salary will be competitive. Candidates who, through their research, teaching and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community are encouraged to apply.
