The School of Business and Economics at Universidad de los Andes, Chile (https://www.uandes.cl/school-of-business-and-economics/) welcomes applications for multiple full-time positions in Economics and Finance at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or be close to completion. Successful candidates should have a high-quality research record or an outstanding research potential. Knowledge of Spanish is not required. The appointment is expected to begin in July 2023.

The School of Business and Economics fosters high-quality research within Economics, Finance and Business Administration. Our group conducts research on a variety of topics, including industrial organization, corporate finance, micro theory, macroeconomics, trade, labor economics and education. Our faculty has published in leading journals such as Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, American Economic Review, Journal of Finance and Review of Financial Studies.

Our school seeks highly motivated candidates who can develop creative and innovative projects at the frontier of knowledge. To this end, we offer a similar package, if not superior, to the best universities in Europe and the United States, including: a highly competitive salary; teaching load of three courses per year with teaching reductions conditional on research productivity; research budget for international activities; research assistants; and monetary incentives for publications.
