Economics and Econometrics stream within The Department of Economics, invites applications for a full-time probationary (tenure-track) appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in Microeconomics. Candidates must hold a PhD in Economics or be near completion and demonstrate potential of excellence in research and teaching in microeconomics. Preference will be given to applicants with a focus on applied microeconomic theory. The appointment may begin on or after July 1, 2023. The salary for the position will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the chosen candidate.

Responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate teaching in microeconomics in one or more delivery modes, PhD examination in microeconomics, graduate supervision, service-related activities and an outstanding, innovative, and, as appropriate, externally funded research program.
