The Research department at the Milken Institute is seeking exceptional candidates in Health Economics at the director level. Qualified candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills and a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field with a solid background in data analysis in Health and advanced knowledge of statistical programming skills (R, Stata, etc.).
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively to conduct applied research on issues pertinent at the international, national, and regional levels. The ability to communicate complex, technical concepts concisely and clearly to an audience with various backgrounds and levels of experience is essential.

Responsibilities
Write reports and recommendations that can be shared with stakeholders;
Conduct sophisticated empirical research in Health Economics;
Coordinate research with various policy centers within MI;
Present research findings to technical and non-technical audiences internally and externally

Requirements
PhD in Economics or related fields;
A minimum of 6 years of experience in conducting quantitative research analysis;
A minimum of 6 years of experience with statistical analysis and programming tools such as R or Stata;
Strong quantitative skills and analytical problem-solving required;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written);
Managerial experience preferred
