Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia invites applications for a non-tenure-track Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics. This is a full-time, one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal beginning July 1, 2023. Candidates with a Ph.D. in economics or a related field and A.B.D. candidates are invited to apply. A strong candidate will be a scholar with college-level teaching experience and a commitment to teaching excellence in the liberal arts and women’s education. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate interest or experience working with first-generation students and students from underrepresented groups.

Screening of candidates will begin November 15, 2022 and will continue until the position is filled.
