Description
The School of Business and Leadership (SBL) at Nazareth College of Rochester, New York, has an opening for a full-time, tenure-track, or clinical faculty, position in economics beginning in fall 2023.
The School of Business and Leadership (SBL) is an innovative and progressive business school with a strong focus on the scholarship of teaching and learning. Our mission is to help students achieve their personal and professional goals.

Candidates must have the ability to teach introductory and elective courses in economics to support requirements for undergraduate programs inside, and outside, of the School of Business and Leadership. Experience with traditional classroom, hybrid, and online course delivery is desirable.
The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching and learning, student advisement, contribute to their academic discipline in a relevant manner, and engage with colleagues, the local community, alumni, and external advisory councils.

New faculty are encouraged to assume leadership roles within the school, as appropriate to their development.
Candidates should have a master’s degree in a relevant field. An earned doctorate is preferred. ABDs will be considered if there is evidence of progress toward dissertation completion. Significant professional experience and/or college-level teaching experience is preferred and will be considered in lieu of a doctorate.
