Position: Assistant Professor
Risk Analysis / Agricultural Policy Analysis
Tenure track, 9-month appointment

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Applied/Agricultural Economics, Economics, or related field. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential to develop a nationally prominent research program in risk analysis and/or agricultural policy economics, and the potential to be an effective classroom instructor.

Job Description: The successful candidate will be expected to: (1) develop a nationally prominent research program with extramural funding and publications in leading peer-reviewed journals, (2) provide high-quality undergraduate and/or graduate teaching (generally two to three courses per year) and contribute to the development and growth of the undergraduate Agribusiness major, (3) advise undergraduate students and direct graduate student theses, and (4) communicate research results to relevant policy makers and stakeholders.
