Northwood University seeks an economist with strong interpersonal and teaching skills to join our faculty beginning in the fall of 2023. Candidates will be expected to teach principles of economics as well as upper level coursework as needed. We are a small department with a need for generalists; All JEL classifications will be considered; but expertise in macroeconomics, public policy, or Austrian economics, is particularly desirable. Teaching load is four courses per semester. Additional responsibilities and expectations may include participation in on-going curriculum planning and review; research and scholarly activities. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a strong attraction to the core values and purpose of Northwood University.
