The Department of Environmental Science and Policy at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science is looking to hire a postdoc to work on the socioeconomic impacts of hurricane forecasts and hurricane landfalls in the United States for up to 2 years (subject to yearly renewal). The position is flexible in terms of location and start dates. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental economics or a relevant discipline. The expected tasks include:
- Implementation, interpretation, and handling of hurricane forecasting models and data products.
- Statistical and econometric analysis of observational data.
- Technical writing and presentation of analyses.
