I am looking for resources outlining good practices when it comes to coding, commenting, version control, etc. Best would be things aimed at economists and research assistants. This is what I have so far:
-Coding for Economists:
https://scholar.harvard.edu/files/ristovska/files/coding_for_econs_20190221.pdf
-Code and Data for the Social Sciences:
https://web.stanford.edu/~gentzkow/research/CodeAndData.pdf
-Software Engineering Concepts for Economists:
https://khakieconomics.github.io/2019/07/17/econgineering.html#1
What else is out there?
#software
#code
#version-control
