The U.S. Census Bureau invites submissions on research using the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP) for a virtual SIPP conference on February 8-9, 2023. SIPP is a nationally representative longitudinal survey that provides comprehensive information on the dynamics of income, employment, household composition, and government program participation.  It offers a rich variety of information, allowing for examinations of:

• Adult and child well-being
• Assets and debts
• Child and dependent care
• Disability, health care, and health insurance
• Educational enrollment and attainment
• Household formation, marital history, and fertility history
• Income and poverty
• Program receipt
• Work

The conference will showcase the latest research using SIPP, facilitate collaboration with peers and scholars, and provide participants with an opportunity to receive feedback from subject matter and data experts at Census. There will also be opportunities to provide the Census Bureau with feedback on how it can improve SIPP. Work-in-progress papers and papers from graduate students and early-career scholars are particularly welcome.
