Associate professor in economics. Research on economic policy, in particular related to environmental issues. Teaches macro economics at intro bachelor level, and natural resource and environmental economics at upper level bachelor level/starting masters level.
In my intro. BS courses I have introduced "flipped classroom" where I do not lecture (all materials available on line) and the value added of going to class (voluntary) is by how the class meetings contribute to meeting learning objectives and promote subject maturity. Student evaluations are promising after having done this for three years
