The IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates should have a strong research interest in motivations for giving and/or volunteering behavior, and demonstrate promise for publishing in leading journals, teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, and advising Ph.D. dissertations. Priority will be given to candidates who use experimental methods to investigate giving, volunteering, or other prosocial behavior.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. or ABD (e.g., in economics, management science, political science, psychology, public health, or sociology). See www.philanthropy.iupui.edu for a full description. The School takes a multi-disciplinary approach with faculty trained in the humanities, social sciences, and other fields. The School cooperates with the IUPUI Department of Economics which offers a field in the economics of nonprofit organizations and philanthropy.
Salary and benefits package are competitive.
