Faculty Positions in Finance
The Finance Department at HEC Montreal invites applications for faculty positions for the academic year 2014-2015. All Finance fields, such as capital markets, corporate finance, international financial markets, banking and risk management, will be considered.

Job Qualifications
Candidates for associate professor should have an established record of quality research whereas candidates for assistant professor should be promising scholars. Successful candidates will be expected to publish research in major journals and to teach high-quality graduate and undergraduate Finance courses. Candidates should hold a doctorate in Finance or in a related field, or be close to completion, and should also be allowed to work in Canada.

French is the primary working environment and language of instruction at the school (although some English and Spanish classes are also offered) and candidates are expected to integrate themselves in such an environment. The standard teaching load for new professors is 3 semester-courses (117 class hours total) per year. Research publication is financially rewarded based on journal ranking.
