ACLI is seeking a Research Analyst who will be responsible for production of Investment Bulletins and who would assist VP and Associate Director, Research on special research projects related to policy and advocacy. Respond to specific research requests from member companies and internal staff. Work with other Research Analysts on production of other data-related publications.

Master's degree in economics, finance, business administration, statistics, mathematics, or a related field and minimum two years of experience. Or a bachelor's degree and five or more years of relevant work experience Candidates who reasonably expect to complete their master's degree by December 2013 are encouraged to apply. Experience in the insurance industry or another financial services industry preferred. Strong mathematical, analytical, research, and computer skills (MS-Access and MS-Excel) required of all applicants. Computer programming skills in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and/or Structured Query Language (SQL) desired but not required. A high level of skill in statistical programs, particularly SAS, is highly desired. Applicant must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and creativity are important in this position. Must be able to take responsibility for projects and work with minimal supervision.
