The Economics Department is seeking to hire an economist with primary interest in macroeconomics and willingness to teach a wide variety of courses. Our economics department works closely with colleagues in the other social sciences in providing interdisciplinary and integrative education for our students. The person currently in this position teaches the macro sequence, Economic History of the US, international trade, money and banking, labor economics, and our senior seminar. The person hired for this tenure-track position would likely chair the small department as well.
