The Department of Economics invites applications for one full-time tenure track opening at the assistant professor level, starting in the academic year 2014-15, pending budgetary approval. A Ph.D. is required. The preferred fields are Behavioral Economics and Urban Economics/Policy. An interest in other fields, such as Environmental Economics or the Economics of the Arts, would be a plus but secondary fields are open. The teaching load is 6 undergraduate courses per year. The candidate will be expected to participate in Wagner College's nationally acclaimed interdisciplinary first year program, The Wagner Plan for the Practical Liberal Arts. The successful candidate will have excellent demonstrated teaching skills, a strong interest in interdisciplinary work, and good scholarship potential. We will be interviewing at the ASSA meetings in Philadelphia.
