The Institute for Applied Microeconomics (IAME, http://www.iame.uni-bonn.de/) at the University of Bonn has an opening for a postdoc position in the field of Applied Microeconomics. The ideal candidate is a recent Ph.D. with excellent knowledge of applied microeconomics, behavioral economics and/or applied microeconometrics.
Our research group conducts innovative research in the fields of labor economics, education economics, health economics, managerial economics, and behavioral economics. We run the BonnEconLab ( http://www.bonneconlab.uni-bonn.de), conduct field experiments and design and use large scale (panel) surveys. Postdocs are expected to engage in joint research projects, and to publish in international journals. The working language is English. The teaching load for this position is limited to one course (up to 4 hours) per semester. All teaching at the graduate level is conducted in English.
We offer an excellent research environment and a competitive salary. The initial contract is for 2 years, but can be prolonged to a maximum period of 6 years. The position can be taken up immediately but no later than Fall 2014.
