For this position, we seek individuals with a strong interest in theoretical and empirical law and economics and, in particular, modeling the risk and financial implications of mass litigation events in the United States. Well-qualified candidates (1) have a Ph.D. in economics, finance, statistics, mathematics, or related field, (2) are experienced in developing and estimating models of economic behavior, (3) have an understanding of the insurance industry and U.S. legal environment in areas such products liability, environmental liability, and Workers Compensation, (4) possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and (5) are excited to work in a dynamic software engineering environment.
