CEMLA is hiring PhDs in economics and finance. The main responsibility is to conduct and publish high-quality research focused on topics of relevance for central banks in Latin America and the Caribbean. Besides, the chosen candidate will be responsible for organizing international conferences and seminars, partaking in joint research activities with the Center's associate and collaborative members, and participating in the Editorial/Technical Committees of CEMLA's journals and in the evaluation of papers presented for the Rodrigo Gomez Research Award. Additionally, they should arrange for three confidential letters of reference to be sent separately to the same email address. Applications will be received until February 28, 2014. However, applications received by December 22, 2013 will be considered for interviews at the AEA meeting in Philadelphia.
