The Economics Department at Universidad de Montevideo invites applicants for two tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning in march 2014.
We seek researchers in the fields of macro, monetary, international economics/finance.
The main focus of the position is research; the applicant will teach two 50 hour courses at the undergrad level, and a 32 hour course at the masters level per year.
Montevideo is the capital city of Uruguay. Spanish speakers are preferred, but fluency in the language is not a requisite.
We will not interview in the AEA/ASSA meetings. Candidates will be screened, and a fly-out will be given for successuful candidates.
