The Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a renewable three-year appointment starting in August 2014 at the Associate Professor level. The ideal candidate will possess a doctorate and extensive experience in international economics or development.
The Patterson School is a selective 18-month professional masters degree program in international affairs. Our faculty is an interdisciplinary mix of traditional academics and former foreign affairs professionals. Academic concentrations are offered in: diplomacy, security and intelligence, international commerce, international organizations, and development.
In addition to scholarly research, service, and outreach responsibilities, the successful candidate is expected to teach three graduate courses a year and a one credit professional module.
