The Department of Economics invites applications for a Temporary Assistant Professor beginning August 11, 2014. This is a one-year, full-time position.

Responsibilities: teach a total of four sections each semester in Principles of Microeconomics and/or Macroeconomics or one elective course. All specialties will be considered.

Required: ABD status in economics, evidence of/potential for teaching effectiveness, and strong communication skills.

Preferred: Ph.D. in economics, evidence of commitment to liberal arts education, preparation or experience related to the responsibilities of the position, and evidence of scholarly activity.
