The Director, Economic Forecasting will be responsible for the firm's economic research activities, which will be integral to the company's Investment and Portfolio Allocation strategies. The Director will be a team player who will evaluate macro and micro economic/real estate trends and collaborate with the company's other disciplines to provide insight to filed leadership and make recommendations to executive leadership across a variety of topics.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will go beyond looking at data from an empirical or spot market basis. He/she will bring a solution based approach to find relevance in information and project trends, nuance and opportunities as well as risks. The position is one of both strategy and tactics; intellectual in its demand of analytical rigor and pragmatic in the need to turn activity into meaningful results for shareholders.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a thinker, leader and business person capable of delivering a research product which will be seen as "value added" by the executive team and field operations. He/she is an investment or economic/real estate research professional or former strategy consultant whose career is marked by success.
Ten years of research experience, including some experience with real estate research and statistics
