The Department of Economics in the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a non-tenure track, renewable fixed-term-appointment position of Lecturer in Economics.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction and mentorship to students and teach large lecture format classes. The successful candidate must possess a teaching and research profile that complements the Department's emphasis on the economics of innovation, technological change, and economic growth. Preference will be given to candidates who can document successful teaching experience at the collegiate level. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or foreign degree equivalent in Economics or an appropriate related field of study.
Founded in 1824, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is the oldest technological university in the nation. With approximately 5,000 undergraduate and 2,500 graduate students from across the country and around the world, the university offers more than 145 programs at the bachelors, masters, and doctoral levels.
