Berea College announces a full time, one-year appointment, with the possibility for renewal, in Macroeconomics to start Fall 2014. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate economics courses, including Money and Banking, Econometrics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Principles of Micro- and/or Macroeconomics, and, based on interests and specialization, courses in International Finance, International Political Economy, and Growth and Development. Applicants should have completed or be close to completing a Ph.D. in Economics. Teaching load is six courses per year. Commitment to the purposes of the College and to superior teaching, research, and mentoring of undergraduates in a liberal arts environment is essential.
