Alaska Pacific University invites applications for a position in Economics and Data Analytics. Ph.D. preferred, Master’s degree required. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of outstanding teaching at post-secondary level. Responsibilities include teaching Economics at graduate and undergraduate levels, and graduate courses on Spreadsheet Simulation and Data Analytics. In addition, faculty at APU are expected to serve on committees, advise students, do program assessment activities, and engage in curriculum/course development as needed. The department’s future focus includes broadening Data Analytics course offerings within the MBA program. Rank will be commensurate with qualification and experience. The Business Administration department is accredited by IACBE. This is not a research position. Workload is teaching and public service, with the expectation of 24 credits per 9 month contract. APU offers faculty teaching contracts with increasing length depending upon time with the university.
