The Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Economics. The position will begin in August 2015.

The faculty member in this position will teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in economics. The preferred areas of specialization for this position are managerial economics, quantitative methods for economics and monetary theory and policy. Ability and willingness to teach principles of economics is also expected.

Completion of a Ph.D. by the time of employment is expected, but an ABD will be considered. Economics should be the primary focus or area of specialization in an applicant’s Ph.D. program. Belmont University is particularly seeking applicants who can demonstrate the interest and ability to work collaboratively with faculty across business disciplines and to play a significant role in co-curricular activities.
