The University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, Department of Public Health Sciences invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in public health and poverty policy research and teaching. This is a full-time tenure track appointment. Successful applicants must have a Ph.D. or Dr.P.H. in public health, epidemiology, economics, sociology, anthropology or a related field; or an M.D. with an accompanying public health graduate degree. The candidate must have experience developing and conducting population-based research and a focus on studying the social, behavioral and economic determinants of health. Special preference will be given to applicants with strong research potential in social and/or applied epidemiology.
