The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is looking for the best and brightest to join our team. There are two positions located in the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis, one position in the Office of Asset Management in the Washington, DC Headquarters Office; and one position Office of Risk Assessment in either the Washington, DC Office or the New York, NY office.

Salary Range

•Washington, DC
SK-11 - $73,648 - $121,113
SK-12 - $88,266 - $145,165

•New York, NY
SK-11 - $77,165 - $126,898
SK-12 - $92,482 - $152,099

Typical Duties Include:
•Providing research, analysis, and advice to the Division and SEC staff on issues relating to the field of economics;
•Building economic models, determining empirical methodology, organizing data collection, and summarizing studies in formal and informal presentations;
•Leading economic and statistical analyses regarding regulated entities and or products for rulemaking, risk assessment, and enforcement purposes;
•Guiding and assisting senior economists in the preparation of papers and manuscripts for publication.
