The Economics Department at the University of Maryland seeks applicants for a non-tenure lecturer position beginning August 2016. This is a renewable position with a primary emphasis on teaching. The teaching load will be a maximum of 3 classes per semester, with a maximum of 2 separate course preparations per academic year. Minimum qualifications are ABD and 2 years teaching undergraduates. Experience teaching managerial economics or intermediate microeconomics would be ideal. Experience teaching large classes and/or a “blended” format is desired.
