Emory University’s Oxford College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics in the Division of History and Social Sciences. The initial appointment will be for one academic year beginning fall 2016 with a possibility of renewal. The teaching commitment is three courses per semester with course enrollments normally of thirty three or fewer students. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Intermediate Microeconomics. There will be a possibility to teach a course in the candidate's field of interest. PhD preferred; advanced ABDs considered. Candidates must demonstrate a genuine desire to teach in a liberal arts environment that emphasizes close student-faculty interaction.
