The Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Public Policy is seeking applications for a visiting position in applied micro-economics, rank open. We are seeking someone with a Ph.D. in economics, policy, management or related fields who will teach microeconomics to public policy students in masters and Ph.D. courses. Core policy areas of the department include: science, technology and innovation; energy and environment; information and communication technologies; regional innovation; urban economic development; and ethical inquiry. Our work in these areas benefits from synergies with Georgia Tech’s world-class engineering, computer science, design, and biomedical science curriculums, and a tradition of interdisciplinary innovative research.
Applicants should submit the following information: (1) a curriculum vita; (2) a statement of research and teaching interests with clear evidence of demonstrated teaching success; (3) a copy of one research paper; and (4) the names of three people who will write letters of reference.
